The landscape

The agritourism "Il Pino Grande" is in the heart of the Alta Murgia national Park, only 3 km far from the UNESCO heritage Castel del Monte. Here, the landscape is rocky, hard and somewhere silvery. It shows a lot of signs that make sure a balance between weather and anthropic activity, across rural houses, cave churches, trulli, "jazzi" and dry little walls. The Park offers to the visitor the possibility to see the fantastic flora and fauna, walking along tours and small paths where you can practise trekking and cycle-tourism.
